Two Docs Development, LLC is a partnership between Drs. Tusek and Flanagan and Bob Rosenthal, AIA. They recently acquired an 8+ acre parcel of land located within a 600 acre residential and commercial property being developed by locally owned Community Development Group in Frederick, Colorado.

Clint Flanagan, MD and Dave Tusek, MD
In 2004, Drs. Tusek and Flanagan were hired as Family Medicine physicians for the new Carbon Valley Medical Center (an entity of Longmont Clinic) in Firestone, Colorado. They helped build that medical center into a successful, thriving medical practice. In April 2007, the doctors chose to resign from the Longmont Clinic and start a new clinic that would allow them to compassionately focus on patients with the goal of improving their quality of life. They are excited to bring a state-of-the art medical center to the Tri-Towns that will help empower their patients to stay healthy by integrating a wide array of allied health fields working together in one location.

Robert Rosenthal, AIA, LEED AP
Bob is the principle architect with Rosenthal Associates, LLC. He graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Construction Management, and was President of Harrington Rosenthal Corp. until 1992. He received a Masters degree in Architecture from the University of Colorado at Denver, and formed Rosenthal Associates in 1997. His development experience includes Wildwood Lodge in Breckenridge, CO; Spruce Street Plaza and Coupe Studios in Boulder, CO; several projects in the Colorado Tech Center, Louisville, CO; and an office park in Lafayette CO. Bob has officially “gone green” by obtaining his LEED certification, which is a nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings. He will lead the way in developing the first green building complex in Frederick by using a whole-building approach to sustainability through sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection and indoor environmental quality. This LEED certified medical facility incorporates Drs. Flanagan and Tusek’s vision for creating a healthy lifestyle.

THE VISION
With input from town leaders, as well as the community, Two Docs Development, LLC, will bring not only a new medical facility to the area, but also innovative business and unique retail opportunities to one of the fastest growing places in Colorado.

Their plans have been introduced to the Board of Trustees for the town of Frederick and the town is excited about their return and the development they are bringing to the area. This summer, construction will begin on the medical center (building #6 on the site plan) with plans for opening early 2009. The medical center will not only house Drs. Flanagan and Tusek, it will include Physiotherapy Associates (physical therapists), a pharmacy, a Pilates/Yoga studio, psychotherapists, nutritionists, and a plastic surgeon. They also plan on other providing space for physicians including Cardiology, OB/Gyn, Orthopedics, and others on a demand basis. They have received interest from radiology/imaging centers, home health care companies, as well as, other businesses.

This medical center and development will be a lifestyle destination that serves the Frederick/ Firestone/ Dacono (Tri-Town) community and surrounding area including: Longmont, Erie, Mead, Ft. Lupton, Platteville and Johnstown.
